Born in the South Eastern European country of Albania, Ervin Beqiri came to Canada in 2002 looking to pursue his career in the petroleum industry in Alberta. A University graduate with degree in Geophysics, Ervin realized that the academic credential assessment procedures in Canada were long and complicated. So, he decided to stay in Toronto and look for a career change. Ervin worked as a store manager at the Radio Shack Electronics store near the intersection of Broadview Ave and Danforth Ave. Many of his clients were realtors from a nearby real estate brokerage, through which he realized that he wanted to be in real estate business because of the greater influence it has over people’s lives. Ervin then started his real estate career in 2005. He fully understands, firsthand, the process new Canadians experience when purchasing a business or home in Toronto. Today, Ervin specializes in residential homes and businesses for sale, especially restaurants. A significant number of his clients are young people who moved to Toronto 7-10 years ago and are now buying their first home. Ervin’s philosophy is that he’s there to help his clients build their life and the relationships are more important than transactions. It is his quickness in understanding his clients needs and his ability to define what is most important for his clients. He fluently speaks Albanian, English, Greek, Serbian and Spanish, which allows him to serve clients originally from a diverse range of countries.
