Kathy Munro

Sales Representative

Kathy Munro started in real estate in 1986 after a successful academic career, first as a counselor at the University of Toronto where she had obtained her undergraduate degree and later at George Brown where she completed her practicum for a Master of Education degree at OISE. Her Rehabilitation through Education training (working with psychiatric patients), combined with her language studies (French, Russian and Polish) have proven to be useful in dealing with realtors and clients of all types. Kathy is fascinated by the different personalities she comes across in the real estate industry, which she points out accommodates all types. Her clients and colleagues are attracted to her because of her non-judgmental personality and how she makes them feel comfortable. As a result, she has worked with many politicians and academics in her career. This is not surprising given Kathy’s great patience and consistency in following up on even the smallest of details. Kathy is committed to making sure her clients are happy, which is why she first got into providing property management as an additional service. She accredits her success to hard work and her efforts at making sure she understands her clients, where they’re coming from and their needs. Kathy's philosophy is to treat everyone well and to provide excellent service. She provides conscientious and knowledgeable service in real estate sales, rentals and property management, particularly in East and Central Toronto and Scarborough.
