Tina Smith graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Waterloo before working in account management at Flare Magazine, a 24/7 career. In 1994, she switched to real estate because she was attracted by a more flexible schedule to raise a family. Tina would later learn that a flexible schedule doesn't necessarily mean working less hours. Building on her philosophy of dependability and honesty she attracted her first clients. Today, after over 20 years in the business, Tina has an extensive client base and although she's based out of the Beach, she works all over the GTA. Her focus is on two areas of real estate: first time buyers who need guidance, and the condo market because of her personal knowledge about condo life (she's President of a Condo Board). First time buyers need hands-on guidance through the process and Tina is there when the terrain gets rough and they hesitate on t heir decision. Her clients know that she will not force them into anything that’s not right for them and trust her negotiating skills. Most of Tina’s clients end up buying their second and third homes through her, and often she works with their children on their first purchase. With a long history of transactions in every type of market and neighbourhood, Tina has the expertise to adapt to her client's needs and expectations.
